This is my original tank.
T-1 Pobeditel'(Russian: Победитель; lit. "vanquisher") is a main battle tank.
Confederation didn't have any real MBTs for battles on the planet surface. They have enough powerful starships so they used not to think they need tanks. They realized, however, if they cannot conquer a planet surface, it cost them many starships to defense the planet without any benefits. Therefore, they decided to make new MBT.

I used Blender for this.

Looks like good tank indeed. I see no real flaws on this beside that it probably will not be able to reach vertical obstacles with its additional armor on and short lenght. Why to need that ability thought?
One more thought I got while looking this was this indeed looks a lot like modern leopard A4 "CAN" upgrade if I remember it right, but this doesn't have gunners sight weak-spot.
One thing what I wonder is why tanks don't have periscopes (that could be used to see better, around tank and over obstacles like wall.) or why those could not use UAV scouting devices to see around to know when to go for enemy? Small little robots to scout things for tank to shoot.

Thanks! Actually, additional armour on body side is not good shape. It's too heavy and has bad effect to climb on vertical obstacles. So later variant of T-1 named T-2 has better shaped armour!(I'm not sure what is the point of 1st paragraph of your comment. If my comment is out of point, please point it out)
Developing this, the most important feature is "hard to kill from the sky". The government felt a lot of fear to attack from the sky and orbit, so this tank has really few openings like periscopes, hatches, gunners sight and so on. This sounds good but actually hard to spot enemy without friends.
Many bad points you said and I pointed out above are fixed in T-2 tank. I love "troublesome" machines because it provide many reason to build new variant :)

I basically meant that front armor of tank will hit obstacles before tracks causing some problems with for example rocks or tree stumps. Or if tank has to climb small vertical wall such as city ground level difference. Or... running over wide trench where front of tank would hit at the wall of trench and made it stuck there... those situations are ones where is good to have tracks in front instead of armor, although tracks become more vulnerable by this way but its all since of mobility.

ahhhh, I checked my tank and realised that  front armour is in too forward from front idler. It's epic fail, It's not what I wanted for this tank.
Now I'm re-shaping front idler and front armour to fix this stupid structure :)

No problem. I have seen that flaw on some tanks, maybe its one of reasons why those weren't much of success.
